A California insurance broker with a life agent license faced an Accusation alleging that he was barred from the securities industry for several years for violating securities laws.

Our client is an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) licensed by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA).  The EMSA subpoenaed our client’s medical records from a local hospital in response to allegations of illicit drug use by an anonymous source.

The Department of Social Services (DSS) used a temporary suspension order to suspend the license of a licensed California family day care after a staff mistake caused a risk of harm to a child in care.  The child was not harmed and returned to care after the incident.

An investigative report by an investigator from the California Department of Insurance stated that our client accepted insurance premiums from clients but failed to pay insurance companies, which resulted in cancellation of insurance policies.

A board certified physician practicing in another state accepted employment at a reputable California health care facility and applied for licensure in California.

The California Board of Registered Nursing filed an Accusation against a registered nurse (R.N.) seeking discipline based on revocation in another state.  In fact, our client’s license had been reinstated in the other state.

The Board of Chiropractic Examiners filed an Accusation and Petition to Revoke Probation against our client alleging unauthorized treatment of a minor based on a complaint by the parents.

A California registered nurse (R.N.) was convicted of alcohol-related reckless driving after being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI).  The conviction was a first-time offense, and there was no evidence of alcohol abuse or dependence.

The California Bureau of Automotive Repair filed an Accusation against a Bay Area smog test station alleging clean-piping.

In 2009, the California Real Estate Commissioner granted our petition for reinstatement of a real estate salesperson's license. The license had been revoked in 1997 because of a federal criminal conviction for submitting a false bank loan application.
